Two actresses highly represented at 37th Fajr

Mahnaz Afshar and Pantea Panahiha are mostly represented among female actors at the 37th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The title of most productive actress for the 37th annual Fajr Film Festival is shared by Mahnaz Afshar and Pantea Panahiha, each for appearing in three films competing in this year’s festival.

Panahiha will appear on the 37th Fajr screens with ‘Jamshidiyeh’, ‘Darkhoungah’, and ‘Suddenly Tree’.

Afshar will be seen in ‘The Unrest’, ‘Oath’, and ‘Suddenly Tree’.

As with previous years, fans and actors alike will be watching closely to see who ultimately takes home this year’s Crystal Simorgh awards at the event’s closing ceremony.

This year’s festival is slated for January 30-February 11, 2019 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
